In the current climate, it is more important than ever to look after the mental well-being of staff. This presentation has: an intro, facts and figures, a look into what mental well-being is and how it impacts a school and some tips for getting started on how to improve the mental well-being of your staff.

A short presentation to explain to pupils what Black Friday is. As we know, Black Friday has almost appeared from nowhere and pupils are confused by the emphasis on Black Friday by the mass media. This presentation explains what Black Friday is and where it's come from.
There are many fun activities, which can be done around Black Friday. Included are three activities: design a Black Friday shop window, design a Black Friday shopping bag and reduce prices in your shop (percentages).

Fun group signs with a table points chart for each and mini labels, which can be used to stick on pupils' books or as tokens in a behaviour management strategy. Save yourself some time preparing for a new year!
I cut these signs out, double-backed and laminated them and then hung them from the ceiling above the group's table. They could just as easily be stuck onto the wall or table.

Have a break in the last week before the Easter holidays. This is a fabulous resource that can be used for so many different engaging lessons. This is Theresa May's full speech on calling a general election on 8th June. The speech is fascinating. Ask your pupils to work out which key words are repeated the most, how Theresa May refers to herself and the opposing parties or work out why an election is being called. It could also be used to pick apart May's use of grammar and vocabulary.
